Day 5- Finding Time to Exercise

blurry-clockYou want to exercise, but you’re wondering, “How will I find the time?”

When your baby or child is up at 6:00 a.m. and it’s go-go-go all day from there, you don’t want to stay up late to workout.  You want to crash!

Take time to evaluate your schedule and be creative about squeezing in exercise.  Do an exercise workout while your kids are awake.  Most likely, they will enjoy joining in or crawling around on the floor while mommy makes all those funny motions.

Take your baby and/or kids for a walk when the weather permits.  All of you will benefit from that time outdoors.

Set aside 2-3 regular times of exercise per week when your husband or another friend watches your kids for you.  Treat these times as appointments.  You may feel this is a wasteful luxury at the time, but isn’t your health worth it?

Don’t think of excuses, think of solutions!  You’re a mom which means you’re resourceful so go for it!

Have a solution for other moms?  What’s worked for you?

Need some advice?  What’s not working for you?
