Day 7 – The Game of Losing Weight

checkered-flagCan losing weight actually be fun?

Yes, it can!

Okay.  In reality, eating less and exercising more isn’t exactly enjoyable at first.  But when you can make it into a game, it puts some fun into it.  That’s why shows like “The Biggest Loser” do so well.  People like to compete.

You can have your own biggest loser contest.  Get some teams at work going.  Or compete against your spouse and see who can lose the most “baby weight” sooner (dads have sympathy cravings too!).

My husband and I competed against my parents one month (which couple could lose the most weight).  It gave us something to laugh about and encouraged us to eat healthier when we were together.

You can also compete against yourself.  Maybe you can do 15 push-ups right now in a row on your knees.  See if you can do more tomorrow.  See if you can get up to 25.  Constantly push yourself to a new goal.

Can you think of other ways to make losing weight like a game?  Think of weight loss in this light and it will become more fun to shed those pounds and push your body to the next level.

Try it risk free and experience the breakthrough month you’ve been longing for.  It just takes five minutes a day!
